We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Hotel Operations Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient running of our [40 to 50 room] hotel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, with a strong background in operations management.
Responsibilities:
1. Daily Operations Oversight: Supervise and coordinate all operational aspects of the hotel, including front desk operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
2. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of hotel staff to ensure high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction.
3. Guest Relations: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards, addressing guest concerns promptly, and implementing effective guest feedback mechanisms.
4. Financial Management: Monitor and manage operational budgets, expenses, and revenue streams to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
5. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards throughout the hotel.
6. Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
8. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving initiatives, and implement appropriate strategies and processes.
9. Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff in emergency situations.
10.Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives for senior management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations management, with demonstrated success in managing similar-sized properties.
3. Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
5. Proven track record of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
6. Sound knowledge of hotel operations, industry trends, and best practices.
7. Ability to multitask, prioritizes, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
