Location: 922 Emblica Estate, Dausa, Rajasthan
Position: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Kitchen In-Charge / Sous Chef to join our hospitality team at 922 Emblica Estate.
The candidate will work alongside our existing chef and will be responsible for taking ownership of the kitchen operations during his/her shift.
Cuisine experience required:
• Strong Continental cuisine
• Good Indian cuisine
• Basic to good Asian cuisine
• Comfortable preparing both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food
• Good understanding of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks
• Ability to prepare food for both à la carte service and small groups/events
Responsibilities:
• Independently manage the kitchen during assigned shifts
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portioning
• Plan and execute daily food preparation
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and food-safety standards
• Monitor stock, wastage and kitchen requirements
• Coordinate with service staff
• Assist in menu planning and development
• Handle guest requests and dietary requirements
• Work as part of a small, hands-on hospitality team
Candidate profile:
• Minimum 3 years relevant kitchen experience
• Previous hotel, resort, boutique property or quality restaurant experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently
• Clean, organised and disciplined
• Good team-management and communication skills
• Long-term candidate preferred
• English speaking is a plus
