Company Description Horn Ok Please Hostel Jaipur is a social backpacker hostel that offers immersive, locally driven stays for travelers seeking authentic experiences in Jaipur. Rather than focusing on luxury, the hostel emphasizes meaningful connections among guests and with the city’s lesser-known neighborhoods and communities. Visitors are encouraged to explore hidden local networks and culture, fostering friendships and shared experiences. The hostel aims to leave guests feeling satisfied, rooted in Jaipur’s traditions, and connected to the local way of life.
Role Description The Front Desk Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Day-to-day tasks include managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations and bookings, responding to guest inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves coordinating with housekeeping and other staff, resolving guest issues promptly, and supporting a friendly, social hostel atmosphere. The Front Desk Manager will monitor guest feedback, promote customer satisfaction initiatives, and help create an engaging experience that reflects the hostel’s community-focused ethos.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating positive, memorable guest experiences.
Experience with receptionist duties and reservations management, including handling bookings, check-ins, and check-outs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse international travelers.
Previous experience in hospitality, hostel or hotel front desk management, or a related customer-facing role.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hostel operations.
Proficiency with basic computer systems and reservation or property management software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi and other languages is an advantage.
