Job Description:
-
Assist the Restaurant Captain/Manager in daily floor operations.
Supervise stewards and service staff during service hours.
Ensure tables are set up correctly before service begins.
Provide training, guidance, and support to junior staff.
Greet guests and ensure they are seated comfortably.
Monitor guest satisfaction and handle their requests politely.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely service.
Ensure service sequence, hygiene and SOPs are followed by team.
Check quality and presentation of food before serving.
Manage table rotation and seating arrangements efficiently.
Resolve minor guest complaints and escalate major issues to Manager.
Maintain discipline, grooming and teamwork among staff.
Assist in billing and closing duties at end of shift.
Report daily shift updates and feedback to Captain/Manager.
